  1. Comprehensive Equine Care: Nominees should demonstrate a profound commitment to the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of retired racehorses. This includes providing quality care, proper nutrition, veterinary attention, and suitable living conditions that ensure the horse's comfort and happiness.
  2. Successful Transition and Retraining: Nominations will be considered for those who have effectively transitioned retired racehorses to second careers outside of racing. The nominee's ability to train and retrain these horses for various disciplines, highlighting their adaptability and potential, is of utmost importance.
  3. Promotion of Thoroughbred Potential: Nominees should actively advocate for the versatility and potential of Thoroughbreds beyond their racing careers. This could include participating in events, competitions, and showcasing success stories that illustrate the breed's capability in diverse roles.
