THAT’S JUSTIFIED (R Vigar) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
FIELD OF FLUTES (J Todd) – Commenced awkwardly. When questioned about the disappointing performance, rider advised that after beginning awkwardly, the gelding got back in the field and resented the kickback getting its head up in running and did not finish off the race as anticipated.

BECQUEREL (S Tsaikos) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
KIEFFER (H Le Blanc) – Raced wide throughout.
ESSKAY (A Sweeney) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner and bumped again shortly after.
SHEER REWARD (J Todd) – Mistrode on several occasions shortly after jumping. Trainer B Cooke was advised that after competing in an uncompetitive manner, the gelding must barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards.
MUSELET (R Vigar) – Inclined to race erratic early heading into the first turn.
RUBINOVA (L Maloney) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner and carried outwards by another runner shortly after bumping again. Trainer D Leech advised that after today’s uncompetitive performance and similar previous performances, the gelding will now be retired from racing.
SILENTDEEL (S Logan) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

Post-race samples were taken from all winners.
Pre-race samples were taken from: ESSKAY, READ, MR JONES, AICHI ICON, JACKSET, NOBLE MAGNATE and all runners in race 7.
Stewards adjourned an inquiry seeking an explanation from trainer B Cooke as to why he removed his runner SHEER REWARD who competed in race 6 off the race course when not permitted to do so within the 30 minutes under the conditions of AR165(3).
Prior to riding all jockeys were breath tested for the presence of alcohol.

Race 7 – Apprentice Jockey D Gillett, was reprimanded for a whip breach, AR132(7)(a)(ii).
