Race 1: Ladies Day March 22 Maiden Plate SW - 1200m

BODMIN BOY (B Newport) – Began awkwardly.

GOLD STAIN (R Vigar) – Raced wide throughout. After a disappointing performance, a post-race veterinary examination of the gelding failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities.

ICONIC MISSILE (L Maloney) – Stood flat-footed as the start was effected losing ground. Trainer L Whittle was advised that a warning has now been placed on the gelding.

COCKTAIL MISS (H Le Blanc) – Bumped with another runner at the 750m becoming momentarily unbalanced.

LEAN ON ME (P Denton) – Bumped with another runner on jumping and raced wide throughout.

PICCADILLY HERO (D Gillett) – Began awkwardly and bumped with another runner at the 750m.

SPILL THE MONEY (S Logan) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

Race 2: Ladbrokes Red Centre Luncheon 4 April Handicap 0-70 – 1200m

BEYOND READY (H Le Blanc) – Lay inwards under pressure over the final 100m.

LITTLE TOWN BLUES (B Newport) – Began awkwardly bumping with another runner.

PRINCESS PANCAKES (P Denton) – Failed to muster early speed losing ground early and raced wide throughout.

CYCLONITE (S Tsaikos) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

ENVENOMATE (J Hampson) – Knuckled on jumping. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed the gelding sustained a minor injury to its off front foot.

Race 3: DJ Bingil Handicap BM54 - 1100m

GET OUT MICK (D Gillett) – Stood flat-footed as the start was effected losing ground. Trainer B Cooke was advised that a warning has now been placed on the gelding.

DOWN THE WICKET (H Le Blanc) – Bumped with another runner shortly after jumping.

BAD MAN (J Hampson) – Began awkwardly bumping with another runner and raced wide throughout.

GOVERNOR (R Vigar) – Bumped and crowded shortly after jumping.

TANGO STEPZ (B Newport) – Bumped with another runner shortly after jumping.

READ (S Logan) – Began awkwardly and steadied when taken inwards by anther runner passing the 100m.

FAMILY TIES (S Tsaikos) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

CHUCKAMICKY (L Maloney) – Lay inwards over the final 250m when tested with the whip.

DANIHER (H Le Blanc) – Underwent a veterinary examination on arriving at the barriers and was subsequently passed fit to start.

ALTAR BOY (S Tsaikos) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

BOOM BOOM SWEET (P Denton) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

TINTERN POWER (D Gillett) – Slow into stride.

Race 6: Red Centre Technology Partners Handicap 0-58 - 1400m

BARANI declared a late scratching at 1:30pm by order of the Stewards after refusing to load. Trainer D Leech was advised that the gelding would need to barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards prior to again racing.

FAITHFUL CHAMPION (S Tsaikos) – Underwent a veterinary examination on arriving at the barriers and was subsequently passed fit to start. Commenced awkwardly shifting outwards bumping with a runner.

VOLDEMORT (S Robbins) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

CAPISTAN (R Vigar) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

PRANCINGINTHERAIN (L Maloney) – Began awkwardly unbalancing its rider.

STEP FORWARD (D Gillett) – Commenced awkwardly unbalancing its rider almost being dislodged.

MI MIJO (J Todd) – Slow into stride.

Race 7: Ladbrokes Alice Springs Cup 6 April Handicap BM68 3YO - 1400m

POINT LOMA declared a late scratching at 11:20am by order of the Stewards after its trainer E Clarke advised the Stewards that the gelding had sustained an injury in its stable prior to coming on course.

SNORE ROOM (S Tsaikos) – Raced ungenerously into the first turn wanting to lay outwards. Taken outwards slightly by another runner approaching the 1000m.

BOOM SMASH OPERA (J Hampson) – Began awkwardly. Taken outwards by another runner into the first turn. Clipped the heels of another runner (SNORE ROOM) and dipped approaching the 1000m.

GRINZINGER LASS (B Newport) – Fractious in the barriers. Checked off heels approaching the 1000m when over-racing.

KING BLING (S Logan) – Shifted outwards slightly at the 1000m when racing greenly.

General:

Post-race samples were taken from all winners.

Pre-race samples were taken from: CYCLONITE, PICCADILLY HERO, DUTY, CHUCKAMICKY, SNORE ROOM.

Reprimands:

Race 4 – Apprentice Jockey D Gillett was reprimanded for a whip breach, AR132(7)(a)(ii).

Suspensions: Nil

Fines:

Apprentice Jockey L Maloney was fined $200 for arriving late to the jockeys room, AR128(1).

Race 1 - Trainer J Peacock was fined $100 for presenting his runner with the incorrect gear, AR106.

Jockey R Vigar was fined $200 from the Alice Springs meeting held on the 1/3/25 in race 2, Failing to ride his mount out to the finish line, ultimately failing to secure 4th position, AR131(b).
