SWEET AS SCANDI declared a late scratching at the barriers at 11:05am by order of the Stewards after its rider was injured after being kicked by another runner and was unable to ride in this event.

THE ACCELATOR declared a late scratching at 11:46am by order of the Stewards after its rider (A Sweeney) became indisposed and no other rider was available.

BODMIN BOY (B Newport) – Restrained off heels into the first turn losing ground.

BRUT STAR (H Le Blanc) – Slow into stride.

RUBINOVA (L Maloney) – Began awkwardly and began to yield ground from the 450m.

TAJALDIN (R Vigar) – Shifted inwards into the first turn.

LEAN ON ME (P Denton) – Fractious in the barriers.

General: Stewards inquired into the circumstances involving BODMIN BOY (B Newport) losing ground into the first turn when having to be restrained. Evidence was taken from B Newport, R Vigar (TAJALDIN) and P Denton (LEAN ON ME). It was established that BODMIN BOY was racing along the rails in restricted room when TAJALDIN rolled in marginally and tightened that runner. R Vigar was quick to straighten his mount and relieve the pressure giving BODMIN BOY the room to regain his position. Stewards were satisfied that no further action was required into the incident.
