Trainer K Petrick was interviewed in regards to the riding instructions she intended to issue her riders bearing in mind she had multiple runners in this event.

Rider R Vigar (PERKOVA) was found to be overweight for this event and was replaced by S Logan.

STARTON (W Davis) – Inclined to lay inwards under pressure from the 200m.

BLACK ZOUS (J Todd) – Began slow into stride and steadied outwards off heels at the 250m to obtain clear running.

MACER’S RAZOR (S Tsaikos) – Began awkwardly.
