Stewards interviewed trainer P Cole in relation to the riding instructions he intended to issue as the stable had multiple runners in the event.
RHESUS (R Vigar) – Bumped at the start. Raced wide throughout.
REBELLIOUS HOPE (W Davis) – Bumped at the start.
DANCER FOR MONEY (W D’Avila) – Fractious in the gates. Rider was reminded of his obligation to fully ride his mounts out to the end of the race.

Stewards interviewed trainer G Clarke in relation to the riding instructions he intended to issue as the stable had multiple runners in the event.
No incidents to report.
1ST BON’S PRIDE 2ND MR CASHMAN 3RD SHAKATTAK
Race 3: bet365 Handicap 0-64 – 1200m
POLARISING (S Logan) – Slow into stride.
MOTIVATED MISS (V Arnott) – Eased and lost momentum passing the 650m.
STARSPANGLEDANCER (J Todd) – When questioned regarding the unplaced performance rider advised that his mount was under pressure leaving the 600m and yielded ground from thereon. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare had returned with an abrasion to the near hind leg.
General – On inquiry it was established that passing the 650m MOTIVATED MISS (V Arnott) was eased and lost momentum when racing between STARSPANGLEDANCER (J Todd) which shifted out marginally and DISCO DONUT (S Tsaikos) that shifted inwards when insufficiently clear. Jockey S Tsaikos was reprimanded for engaging in careless riding under AR131(a).

Race 4: Ladbrokes Wet Season Series (Heat 2) Handicap 0-58 – 1100m
HOTIM ENGLISH (A Nicholls) – Raced wide from the 500m.
HACHIMAN (H Le Blanc) – Bumped at the start.
HOUSTON STAR (W D’Avila) – Commenced awkwardly and veered outwards at the start. Raced wide throughout and inclined to lay inwards under pressure in the straight. Rider reported his mount returned to the enclosure with its tongue over the bit.
DAUNTING DECISION (J Todd) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped.
ANGELIQUE (V Arnott) – Stood flat-footed at the start and lost considerable ground. Trainer A Forster was advised that a warning will now be placed on the mare.

Race 5: Silks Darwin Christmas Mega Raffle 18 December Handicap BM76 – 1600m
TUBTHUMPER (W D’Avila) – Difficult to load. Commenced awkwardly.
CORMORANT (S Tsaikos) – Bumped and crowded at the start. Bumped and crowded again near the 1500m and restrained when tightened for room shortly after.
AWESOME LAD (W Davis) – Shortly after start attempted to buck for some distance and took no further competitive part in the event. Trainer P Cole was advised the gelding must barrier trial satisfactorily prior to racing again.
NASSAU COUNTY (J Todd) – Bumped at the start. Momentarily held up passing the 500m.
FILTHY RICH (S Logan) – Bumped at the start. Carried inwards and crowded near the 1500m. Raced wide throughout.
