General: As Jockey I Luximon had been stood down from riding at today’s meeting, the following rider changes were approved:

Race 1: Carla Furnishers Class 2 Handicap - 1200m

JACKSET (P Denton) – Began awkwardly.

GET OUT MICK (J Booth) – Began awkwardly.

TORTELLINI (M Wolanin) – Raced wide throughout.

BEEP TEST (S Tsaikos) – Shifted inwards approaching the 200m.

RUPERT’S DELIGHT (A Sweeney) – Checked off the heels off BEEP TEST (S Tsaikos) approaching the 200m losing ground.

TAJALDIN (S Logan) – Slow into stride.

General: S Tsaikos was found guilty of a charge under the provisions of AR131(a) for careless riding. The specifics of the charge being that approaching the 200m he did allow his mount to shift ground inwards when insufficiently clear, resulting in RUPERT’S DELIGHT (A Sweeney) having to take hold and check his mount off the heels of another runner losing ground, and JACKSET (P Denton) travelling behind RUPERT’S DELIGHT, having to steady.

S Tsaikos had his licence to ride in races suspended for 2 NT meetings to commence midnight the 9th November and to expire after midnight the 23rd November 2024. S Tsaikos was advised of his right of appeal.

QUANAPIRRI BAY (P Denton) – After being kicked by another runner behind the barriers, a subsequent veterinary examination passed the gelding fit to start.

SWEET AS SCANDI (A Sweeney) – Began awkwardly and raced wide throughout.

EMMOOKI MAGIC (L Maloney) – Began awkwardly and began to race ungenerously about the 600m getting its head up.

SHE’S TUFF ENUFF (M Wolanin) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

MAGICOURT (J Booth) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

TALENT QUEST was declared a late scratching at 4:23 by order of the Stewards for refusing to load.

Trainer W Savage was advised that the gelding must barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards prior to again racing.
