A post race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have an elevated heart rate.

General – The declaration of correct weight was delayed for a review of the weighing process after it was established that jockey A Sweeney (GLOBAL WONDER) returned to the scales at less than the allotted weight he weighed out at. After considering the addition of the 0.5kg allowance provided for under the provisions of AR209(2)(a), Stewards deemed he had carried the allotted weight under the rules and therefore correct weight was declared. Jockey A Sweeney could offer no explanation as to how this occurred and after investigating the matter Stewards could not determine the cause of this incident.
