Race 1: Scope Building (NT) Handicap - 1200m
FLYING START (P Denton) – Commenced awkwardly and inclined to lay outwards under pressure from the 200m.
FLYING YISHU (L Maloney) – Inclined to over-race in the middle stages.
CUBIC ZIRCONIA (J Philpot) – Steadied off heels at the 250m when racing forward.

Race 2: Red Centre Technology Partners Handicap 0-64 - 1100m
FAMILY TIES (S Tsaikos) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
DELAGO LAD (P Denton) – Held up for clear running entering the home straight.
IL DON CAVALLO (L Maloney) – Bumped when tightened between runners on jumping. Apprentice L Maloney advised that as a result he was unable to race in a prominent position as anticipated and was then held up for clear running from the 500m and down the length of the straight and was unable to fully test his mount.
VANDERLAND (T Doyle) – Commenced awkwardly.
FREEDOM DAY (C Hunter) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

ANOTHER VAL (T Doyle) – Inclined to lay outwards under pressure from the 150m.

HEBEL (E Lines) – Began to yield ground from the 500m when under pressure.

MAID OF MYSTERY (S Tsaikos) – Raced wide throughout and began to yield ground when under pressure from the 450m finishing well back.
HOT SPRING (J Philpot) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner.
General: Trainer D Morgan was advised by Stewards that as both of his runners in this event being HEBEL and MAID OF MYSTERY, raced in an uncompetitive manner finishing well back in the field and they both must barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards, in a competitive manner.
