SWEET AS SCANDI – Was declared a late withdrawal at 1.12pm by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice.

RISING FIRE (V Arnott) – Raced wide throughout.

AWEN (M Salter) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped.

STEP FORWARD (S Tsaikos) – Returned having bled from the right nostril. Trainer J Peacock was advised that the mare must perform a satisfactorily gallop prior to racing again.

BEL SUONO (J Todd) – Commenced awkwardly.

ROULETTE QUEEN (J Hampson) – Raced keenly in the early and middles stages.

NO RAIN NO FLOWERS (C Hunter) – Bumped at the start.

FLYING BARTY (S Logan) – Returned having bled from both nostrils. Trainer P Cole was advised of the requirements of AR79. Trainer subsequently advised the mare would now be retired.

DANIHER (I Luximon) – Bumped heavily at the start. Raced wide throughout.

MARVELOUS NIGHT (S Logan) – When questioned regarding the unplaced performance rider advised that after being crossed leaving the 1000m her mount resented the kickback and was off the bit through the middle stages but did make moderate ground in the home straight.

NEW ROMAN (P Denton) – Bumped heavily at the start.

STAR OF MONSOON (C Hunter) – Slow to muster early speed.

JUST IMMORTAL – Was declared a late withdrawal at 1.16pm by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice.

MEANT FOR MARS (A Sweeney) – Lay inwards in the early stages of the straight.

RIP EDITION (J Hampson) – Commenced awkwardly. Taken outwards near the 250m to obtain clear running.

IN PRINT (J Todd) – Raced wide throughout.

VETIVER (S Tsaikos) – Lay inwards on straightening with the rider changing the whip to his left hand. Shifted outwards under pressure from the 150m.

TILUSSION (J Todd) – Fractious prior to the start. Commenced awkwardly and bumped. Rider advised that when crossed near the 800m his mount resented the kickback and was off the bit from thereon and failed to respond to his urgings.

HALLOWED GROUND (S Tsaikos) – Rider advised that his mount had difficulty negotiating the first turn and lay outwards, losing momentum through the middle stages.
