WOLF QUEEN (S Logan) – Steadied from heels passing the 900m. Contacted the hindquarters of another runner, bumped and unbalanced at the 700m.
BARTY AYA (W Davis) – Failed to commence with the field and lost considerable ground. Trainer P Johnston was notified that the mare would have to trial prior to racing again.
I’M A DREAMER (J Hampson) – Raced wide throughout.
GO BARNEY GO (I Luximon) – Bumped on hindquarters and unbalanced rounding 700m turn. The rider reported his saddle had shifted during this incident.
General – On inquiry, Jockey J Todd (STARSPANGLEDANCER) was severely reprimanded for engaging in careless riding in that he allowed his mount to shift inwards whilst insufficiency clear resulting in Jockey S Logan (WOLF QUEEN) having to steady to avoid heels.

INFLUENTIAL JACK (I Luximon) – Raced wide from the 500m. Lay inwards under pressure in the straight with the rider changing his whip to his left hand passing the 150m.
