FLYING YISHU (C Hunter) – Commenced awkwardly.

ENVENOMATE (J Hampson) – Stood flat-footed as the start was effected losing ground.

PERKOVA (D Stanley) – Raced wide throughout and inclined to lay inwards under pressure down the length of the straight.

ANGELLUCCIS (A Maloney) – Steadied off heels approaching the 600m when racing forward.

Race 2: LADBROKES BET TICKER HANDICAP 1200m

Trainer T Gillett was interviewed in regards to the riding instructions he intended to issue his riders as he had multiple runners in this event.

MUTANY (J Hampson) – Commenced awkwardly.

MISS MIDUKI (J Doyle) – Commenced awkwardly and raced wide into the home straight.

JEN’S REWARD (D Stanley) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner.

PROTOSTAR (S Tsaikos) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

I’M DUN DEELIN’ (A Maloney) – Inclined to lay out throughout the race. After a disappointing performance, a veterinary examination of the gelding failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities.

Race 4: WATER TANK CAFÉ HANDICAP (2) C12 1100m

RUPERT’S DELIGHT (I Luximon) – Commenced awkwardly. Apprentice reported that his left iron broke near the 1400m whilst pulling his mount up.

QUANAPIRRI BAY (C Hunter) – Bumped with another runner on jumping and lay inwards from the 150m under pressure.

DELIVRY (J Doyle) – Raced wide throughout. After a disappointing performance, a veterinary examination of the gelding failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities.

CITY OF SIN (J Hampson) – Slow into stride.

General: Apprentices D Stanley and L Maloney were reminded of their obligations to remain in the jockeys room or outside area until their riding engagements are completed and not to walk distances away out into the public area AR128(2).

BULLINACHINASHOP (J Hampson) – Difficult to load and bumped at the start.

DELAGO LAD (A Maloney) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

Race 6: CREATIVE GIFTS & AWARDS HANDICAP BM76 1400m

FANTASY EAGLE (E Lines) – Underwent a veterinary examination at the barriers at the request of its rider and was subsequently passed fit to compete.

BENCH PRESS (S Tsaikos) – Raced wide throughout. After a disappointing performance, a veterinary examination of the gelding failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities. Rider reminded of his obligations to ride his mounts out to the line and not leave his rides open for question.

ZOUSTORM (S Logan) – Fractious in the barriers before bounding on jumping.

1^ST DESERT LASS 2^ND THAT’S JUSTIFIED 3^RD CENTURY FOX

 

Race 7: ASTC CUP WEEKEND – 6 & 7 HANDICAP BM54 1600m

DUTY (J Philpot) – Raced wide entering the home straight.

HONG KONG FIGHTER(S Logan) – Commenced awkwardly shifting inwards abruptly. Bumped with another runner on several occasions shortly after jumping.

MI MIJO (I Luximon) – Commenced to shift ground inwards under pressure from the top of the straight.

FISCHER (J Hampson) – Bumped with another runner shortly after jumping when momentarily tightened for room.

NICSTAR (C Hunter) – Momentarily inconvenienced for room shortly after jumping bumping with another runner on several occasions.

DARTBOARD (D Stanley) – Stood flat-footed as the start was effected losing ground.
