Race 4: ASTC MEMBERSHIP NOW DUE MAIDEN PLATE 1000m

DON’T BE DRAMATIC declared a late scratching at 4:09 by order of the Stewards after the gelding took charge of its rider galloping a circuit of the track.

BRAVE FLING declared a late scratching at 4:18 after getting down in the barriers becoming cast. Trainer T Huish was advised that a veterinary certificate of soundness must be produced prior to the gelding again racing.

BODMIN BOY (J Philpot) – Raced wide throughout.

JACKSET (J Hampson) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner and unbalancing its rider.

KIEFFER (I Luximon) – Tightened between runners on jumping.

MAJESTICAL (L Maloney) – Slow into stride.

MR BLACK (E Lines) – Shifted inwards abruptly at the 200m and as a result, mistrode on several occasions.

LI’L MISSPRANCEALOT (D Gillett) – Commenced awkwardly getting its head up and bumping heavily with another runner. Commenced to race wide from the 600m and inclined to lay inwards under pressure from the 200m.
