Global Wonder (J Todd) – Lay outwards through the middle stages.

Wolf Queen (S Logan) – When interviewed rider advised that after being crossed by another runner leaving the 750m her mount resented the kickback and lost momentum.

Race 3: Family Christmas Day at the Bay TROBIS Handicap C12 – 1200m

Athletica (J Todd) – Bumped at the start. Following the unplaced performance a veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off fore leg. Trainer G Clarke was advised that he must present a veterinary clearance for the gelding prior to racing again.

Bon’s Pride (V Arnott) – Bumped at the start. Raced wide throughout.

Wilsons Prom (A Nicholls) – Bumped at the start.

Hong Kong Fighter (J Hampson) – Bumped at the start.

Queen In The North (S Logan) – Bumped at the start. Raced wide from the 600m.

Race 5: Christmas Buffet at the Bay Handicap 0-58 – 1100m

Stars The Limit (C Hunter) – after proving difficult to load, reared in the barriers and dislodged the rider. The gelding subsequently declared a late scratching by order of the Stewards at 5.43pm. Trainer C Pollard was advised that as the gelding had previously offended in this manner it will be required to barrier trial satisfactorily on 2 occasions prior to racing again. Rider was examined by the Paramedics and cleared on any injury.

All bets placed on the mare were refunded and the following deductions were applicable to successful bets placed prior to 5.43pm.
