ZOURISKY (A Nicholls) – The veterinarian reported the mare returned with an ulcerated right eye.

JIMMY’S SECRET (A Nicholls) – Failed to muster early speed.

Stewards interviewed trainer G Clarke in relation to the riding instructions he intended to issue as the stable had multiple runners in the event.
INFLUENTIAL JACK (A Nicholls) – Impeded from heels and steadied near the 400m. When questioned regarding the unplaced rider advised that his mount travelled comfortably in running but was held up behind heels from the 500m and when steadied near the 400m the gelding lost momentum and his opinion then failed to quicken in the home straight under the heavy weight impost. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
VALLABAR (J Todd) – Commenced awkwardly. Raced wide on straightening.
RAFFALLI (V Arnott) – Raced wide throughout.
1ST VALLABAR 2ND SOUL SPIRIT 3RD RAFFALLI
Race 4: Bratwurst and Beer 0-58 Handicap – 1200m
BRAZILLIANT (P Denton) – Raced wide throughout.
LOOKING FOR YOU (E Lines) – Contacted the running rail and became unbalanced near the 900m.
CHIEF MONDO (J Todd) – Veered outwards and bumped at the start. Commenced to race keenly for some distance leaving the 1000m when the pace eased. Lay outwards through the middle stages.
KIRIKAT (V Arnott) – Commenced awkwardly and lost ground.
BEL SUONO (A Nicholls) – Bumped at the start.
NEW ENTERPRISE (C Hunter) – Raced wide throughout.

Race 5: Prost to Oktoberfest BMNT Handicap – 1100m
Stewards interviewed trainer G Clarke in relation to the riding instructions he intended to issue as the stable had multiple runners in the event.
IDEAS MAN (M Pegus) – Raced without cover.
SYNCLINE (P Denton) – Raced wide from the 600m.
CITY REGAL (V Arnott) – The off side bubble cheeker became detached enroute to the barriers and as it could not be refitted in a timely manner, the gelding raced without this piece of gear. Veered inwards at the start. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages.
MR CASHMAN (J Todd) – Bumped at the start.
STAR MAGNUM (E Lines) – Bumped at the start.
RISING SPHERE (A Nicholls) – Bumped at the start.
BEL’S BANNER (C Hunter) – Slow into stride. Raced keenly into the first turn.

Race 6: Oktoberfest Oompah TROBIS Maiden Plate – 1100m
BATTLE CLASS (M Pegus) – declared a late scratching at 5.05pm by order of the Stewards as the rider was unwell and could not fulfil his engagement.
LORD FENRIR (E Lines) – Fractious prior to the start. Bounded and lost ground on jumping.
PROHIBITED (V Arnott) – Slow into stride. Raced wide throughout. The veterinarian reported the gelding returned with blood in the mouth from a tongue laceration.
1ST CAPISTAN 2ND GUNSHOT GLITTER 3RD FULL DAMAGE
General – The Paramedics treated jockey M Pegus for dehydration and he will be required to present a medical clearance prior to riding again.
