General: Stewards opened an inquiry into the circumstances in which apprentice L Maloney presented himself in the mounting yard for race 1 to ride DELAGO LAD, without wearing his approved safety vest.

Apprentice L Maloney in the presence of his host trainer G Connor, subsequently pleaded guilty to a charge under AR227 for engaging in conduct that had led to a breach of the rules namely AR123(1).
