MISS MIDUKI (S Logan) – Bumped with another runner on jumping, raced wide throughout and inclined to lay outwards under pressure down the length of the straight.

LISA (I Luximon) – Bumped with another runner on jumping and raced wide early. Steadied off heels at the 350m when racing forward.

REDENZO LAD (E Lines) – Bounded on jumping.

SHOAL RIVER (J Philpot) – Slow into stride.

Race 2: RED CENTRE RACING AWARDS 14TH OCT HANDICAP (2) 0-58 1200m

RED WRAITH underwent a veterinary examination on arriving at the barriers after rearing over in the mounting yard. Subsequently declared a late scratching at 1:39 on veterinary advice with a laceration to its tongue causing bleeding in the mouth.

As no book maker was on course, no deductions were applicable.

Race 3: BT DALEY – PAINTING CONTRACTOR MAIDEN PLATE 3-Y-O & UP 1000m

SUNSET LADY declared a late scratching at 2:01 by order of the Stewards after dislodging its rider behind the barriers and then becoming loose from a barrier attendant and galloping for some distance riderless causing a delay with the start.

As no book maker was on course, no deductions were applicable.

DESERT LASS (C Hunter) – Commenced awkwardly.

KICKATORP (J Philpot) – Slow into stride. Held up for clear running approaching the 350m.

FANTASY EAGLE (NZ) (I Luximon) – Was found to have bled from its offside nostril on returning to scale. Trainer W Savage was advised of his requirements under AR79(7).

ASSERTIN LADY (A Nicholls) – Ridden aggressively early to obtain the lead.

Race 6: COLEMANS PRINTING HANDICAP BM54 1400m

EIGHT ON THE DOT declared a late scratching at 3:53 by order of the Stewards after refusing to load.

Trainer R Taylor was advised that the gelding must barrier trial prior to again starting in a race.

SWEET AS SCANDI (I Luximon) – Commenced awkwardly.

BOOGIE NIGHTS (A Nicholls) – Raced wide throughout.
