EXCEEDINGLY MAGIC (W Davis) – Fractious prior to the start. The veterinarian reported the mare returned with an elevated heart and showing signs of distress. The mares’ condition was monitored and recovery was within normal parameters.

HATTAN MAN (S Tsaikos) – Shifted inwards under pressure inside the final 50m.

GELATA (A Nicholls) – declared a late scratching at 12.25pm by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice after sustaining an injury to the jaw enroute to the race course.

BEACHHAVEN (S Tsaikos) – Commenced awkwardly and then bounded losing ground.

ROJO BOOM (A Lindsay) – Restrained near the 1100m. Rider reported that her mount resented the kickback and failed to stretch out as a result. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
