Race 1: Lucid Consulting Australia 0-62 Handicap – 1600m
ENVENOMATE (K Yuill) – Momentarily steadied off heels approaching the 600m. When questioned regarding the unplaced performance rider advised that her mount travelled comfortably in running but was under pressure on straightening and failed to finish the race off as anticipated. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding was lame in the off fore leg. Trainer D Leech was advised that he must present a veterinary clearance for the gelding prior to racing again.
IKNOWHATYOUREDOING (I Luximon) – Commenced awkwardly losing ground.
PAULO PACE (W Davis) – Trainer K Healy advised that the gelding returned to his stables lame in the off fore leg and therefore he must present a veterinary clearance prior to racing again.
COME AGAIN (E Lines) – Commenced awkwardly. Raced wide throughout.
LATEST BENTLEY (A Sweeney) – Lay inwards in the straight when tested with the whip.

Race 2: Midway Berrimah 0-62 Handicap – 1600m
SWEET CHEVAL (C Hunter) – Fractious prior to the start. Raced wide into the home straight. Rider reported her mount hung outwards from the 500m. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding was lame in the off hind. Trainer J Banks advised that she must present a veterinary clearance for the gelding prior to racing again.
MARVELOUS NIGHT (A Nicholls) – Commenced awkwardly.
FREDDY THE EAGLE (M Pegus) – Bumped another runner at the 700m.

OLIVER BULLET (D Gillett) – Commenced awkwardly and shifted out abruptly. Inclined to lay inwards under pressure in the straight.

BLUFFED (P Shiers) – Shifted inwards off heels to obtain clear running near the 100m.
KING’S STAR (K Yuill) – Steadied from the heels of a runner yielding ground near the 800m.
MEANT FOR MARS (D Gillett) – Rider accidentally dropped her whip at the top of the straight.
GO FORMAL (M Pegus) – Commenced awkwardly.
IS THAT YOU ETHAL (V Arnott) – Slow into stride. Yielded ground from the 800m.

Race 4: Darwin Racing TROBIS Maiden Plate (Div2) – 1300m
AUSTINTAYSHUS (I Luximon) – Attempted to buck for some distance shortly after the start, bumping heavily with another runner and then took no competitive part in the remainder of the event. Trainer K Healy advised that the gelding must barrier trial satisfactorily prior to racing again.
GO BARNEY GO (A Nicholls) – The veterinarian reported the gelding returned with blood in the mouth.
LET’S SOLDIER ON (D Gillett) – Bumped heavily with another runner shortly after the start. Approaching the 500m clipped heels and knuckled, unbalancing and dislodging the rider.
DEE FEARLESS (P Shiers) – Commenced awkwardly.
NEW YORK SPIRIT (J Todd) – The mare had to be resaddled behind the barriers delaying the start.
General - Apprentice D Gillett was transported to Royal Darwin Hospital for observation. An inquiry into the reason she was dislodged from her mount was adjourned to a date and time to be fixed.

CHARRETERA (E Lines) – Bumped at the start.
FIRST CRUSADE (P Shiers) – Stood flat footed at the start and lost several lengths.
REAL VALENTIA (I Luximon) – Commenced awkwardly and shifted in abruptly bumping another runner. Raced wide throughout.
JET JACKSON (A Lindsay) – Bumped at the start.

YAROOMBA (J Todd) – Momentarily inconvenienced for room between runners approaching the 600m.
EXCEEDINGLY MAGIC (E Lines) – Commenced awkwardly.
APLOMADO (C Hunter) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have cardiac arrythmia. Trainer C Baxter was advised that the gelding must have an ECG performed and a veterinary clearance issued following a satisfactory gallop over 1000m prior to racing again.

ASSERTIN LADY (A Nicholls) – Bumped at the start.
