Race 1: Fawcett Contracting Maiden Plate – 1200m

BATTLE CLASS (S Wiseman) - Fractious in the barriers and reared up casting both feet over the gates. Underwent a veterinary inspection and cleared to compete. Bumped with another runner on jumping and as a result the rider lost both irons and did not regain them for the duration of the race.

GO BARNEY GO (A Nicholls) – Raced wide throughout.

Race 2: Oolloo Investment BMNT Handicap – 1200m

Stewards interviewed trainer G Clarke in relation to the riding instructions he intended to issue as the stable had multiple runners in the event.

LOVEPLANET (A Nicholls) – Bumped with another runner at the start.

RAAZOU (A Lindsay) – Raced wide throughout.

SWING WITH JUNIOR (J Hampson) – Bumped with another runner at the start.

TRAVANTI (E Lines) – Raced wide throughout.

Race 4: Go Wild Contracting 0-70 Handicap – 1000m

RISING SPHERE (J Todd) – The club Veterinary request to inspect the gelding on arrival at the barriers after noticing in her opinion a concern with its action in the mounting yard. On inspection the gelding was cleared to compete in the race.

STAR MAGNUM (E Lines) – Jumped awkwardly and bumped with another runner.

CANTON KID (P Shiers) – Bumped with another runner at the start.

SOUL SPIRIT (W Davis) – Raced wide throughout.

KENT STREET (J Hampson) – Dropped its head in the barriers causing the bridal to be readjusted prior to the start. Jumped awkwardly unbalancing its rider and losing considerable ground.

PATRIOTIC KING (J Todd) – Crowded between runners on jumping.

PRINCIPAL BELLE (P Denton) – Jumped awkwardly and bumped with another runner.

VENTING (P Denton) – Slow into stride bumping with another runner.

CISALPINE (J Todd) – Jumped awkwardly bumping with another runner resulting in the rider becoming momentarily unbalanced.

IRONEDGE (A Lindsay) – Had a tendency to over race in the early and middle stages.
