EXGAMES (W Davis) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped.
MY MONARO (S Tsaikos) – Slow into stride. Raced wide throughout.
TO THE POINT (P Shiers) – Crowded and bumped heavily at the start.
RUBY RUBY RUBY (C Hunter) – Bumped at the start.
BRAVE FLING (J Todd) – Lost momentum when racing greenly into the first turn.

Race 2: Caulfield Cup Day 15th October TROBIS Maiden Plate – 1100m
KIKUYU (C Hunter) – Bounded at the start.
PLYMOUTH ROCK (W Davis) – Near the 600m commenced to shorten stride dramatically and was eased up with the rider safely dismounting. The Club veterinarian reported the gelding had sustained a fracture to the near fore leg and was subsequently humanely euthanased. A post mortem swab sample was collected.
LAYLAH’S WISH (C Eaton) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped. Lay outwards in running.
TRULY BRAZEN (J Todd) – Bumped at the start.

Race 3: Oktoberfest at the bay 22nd October BMNT Handicap – 1100m
CIELO D’ORO (W Davis) – Shifted outwards under pressure over the final 100m.
ILLUSTRATING LAW (C Hunter) – Bounded at the start. Following the unplaced performance a veterinary examination revealed to the gelding to be lame in both front legs. Trainer C Pollard must provide a veterinary clearance for the gelding prior to racing again.
PAPALET (P Crich) – Raced wide throughout.

Race 4: Melbourne Cup Day 1st October BM54 Handicap – 1300m
AFTERNOON TEA (W Davis) – Fractious in the barriers and after undergoing a veterinary examination was found to be lame in the near fore and subsequently withdrawn by order of the Stewards at 4.19pm. All monies wagered on the mare were ordered to be refunded and the following deductions were applicable to successful bets placed prior to 4.19pm:
1st 14c win, 16c place
2nd 17c place
3rd 15c place
Trainer P Cole must present a veterinary clearance for the mare prior to racing again.
MR BOOMJANGLES (P Shiers) – Raced wide throughout.
ZOU DER ZEE (P Crich) – Resented the kickback initially and failed to muster speed in the early and middle stages.
MALIBU EDITION (S Tsaikos) – Raced wide throughout. Upon return to scale the rider reported that his saddle commenced to shift to the off side near the 100m and consequently he was unable to fully test his mount in the run to the finish.

OBLIGATORY (S Tsaikos) – Late plating change of front bars on was approved.
THE MISTRAL (J Todd) – Commenced awkwardly.
TSUGARU (C Eaton) – Bounded at the start unbalancing the rider. Race wide from the 700m. Cast the off hind plate in running.
ZAP (P Crich) – Raced wide throughout.

Race 6: TAB 0-58 Handicap - 1200m
BLUEANT (J Todd) – Raced wide in the early and middle stages.
CHAMPS D’OR (S Tsaikos) – Raced wide throughout.
REALLY SWISH (C Hunter) – Returned having bled from both nostrils. As this was the second occasion, trainer C Pollard was advised of the provisions of AR79 and the lifetime ban now imposed on the gelding from racing in Australia.
