Race 1 Ladbrokes Odds Boost Handicap 1200 metres
Stewards questioned trainer L Whittle in regards to the riding instructions she intended to issue her riders bearing in mind she had multiple runners.
DEVIL’S TEMPTATION (C Hunter) – Knuckled on jumping dislodging its rider. After being examined by St John medical officers, rider was cleared to fulfil her riding engagements for the day.
SUPREME TIMES (S Tsaikos) – Slow into stride bumping with another runner. When questioned about the disappointing performance of the gelding, rider reported that after being slow into stride, the gelding felt flat-footed throughout the event and did not race in the manner they anticipated. A veterinary examination of the gelding failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities.
VALLEY PRINCE (J Hampson) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
GLOCK (J Doyle) – Inclined to over-race in the middle stages. Inconvenienced for clear running along the rails over the concluding stages.
MILES POWER (J Philpot) – Bumped with another runner on jumping. Taken inwards by the riderless horse over the final 150m.
DESERT LASS (P Denton) – Bumped with another runner on jumping and raced wide throughout.

Race 2: Territory Pest Control Handicap (1) 1100 metres
DEFACTOR declared a late scratching at 2:40pm by order of the Stewards after refusing to load. Trainer J Gleeson was advised that prior to that gelding again starting in a race, it must barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards.
THE AMAZING TAHLIA declared a late scratching at 2:43pm by order of the Stewards after refusing to load. Trainer K Lamprecht was advised that prior to that mare again starting in a race, it must barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards.
As no book-maker was on-course, no deductions were applicable to these scratching’s.
COLHOUN (W Davis) – Inclined to lay outwards under pressure over the final 100m.
LIKE A HEARTBEAT (S Wiseman) – Commenced awkwardly and raced wide throughout.
HEART OF RED (S Tsaikos) – Slow into stride.

SEDONA (J Hampson) – Commenced awkwardly and inclined to lay outwards under pressure from the 200m. Rider reminded of her obligations to stop riding and straighten her mounts when shifting ground under pressure.
DISTANT LOVER (C Hunter) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner shortly after.
SHOAL RIVER (L Crow) – Slow into stride and commenced to race wide from the 800m.
MADAME DUPORTH (W Davis) – Bumped with another runner shortly after jumping.

Stewards questioned trainer L Whittle in regards to the riding instructions she intended to issue her riders bearing in mind she had multiple runners.
FANTASY EAGLE (NZ) (I Luximon) – Inclined to shift inwards under pressure over the final 150m.
DATASET (J Doyle) – Commenced awkwardly.
ZELRING (J Hampson) – Commenced to shift outwards from about the 500m to obtain clear running.
CITY JET (S Tsaikos) – Inclined to race with its head up in the early stages.
KYD ROCK (W Davis) – Fractious in the barriers and inconvenienced for clear running about the 150m.
MARSALIS (C Hunter) – Slow into stride.

SHORTBALL (S Wiseman) – Bumped with another runner on jumping and commenced to lay outwards from about the 1200m causing its rider difficulties in controlling the gelding. Trainer B Cooke was advised that prior to again starting in a race, it must trial in a more tractable manner, to the satisfaction of the Stewards.
TOGUCHI (S Fawke) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
TYCOONS DIOR (P Denton) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

Stewards questioned trainer J Gleeson in regards to the riding instructions she intended to issue her riders bearing in mind she had multiple runners.
JUST HANG UP (S Wiseman) – Slow into stride.
HALOGEM (W Davis) – On returning to scale, was found to have bled from both nostrils. Trainer J Gleeson was advised that the gelding was now subject to the provisions of AR79(4).
HANDBALL (P Denton) – Commenced awkwardly and slow into stride.
SAIKEN (I Luximon) – Commenced awkwardly.
MORPHLING (J Philpot) – Lay outwards rounding the home turn.
HUCKLEBERRY (S Fawke) – Rider reminded of his obligations to ride his mounts out to the finish.
