ZIPADEE declared a late scratching at 1:54 after refusing to load.
Trainer L Whittle was advised that prior to again racing, it must barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards.

SHIFT THE RISK (P Sheirs) – Taken outwards by another runner about the 150m.
SIAKAM (J Todd) – Tightened for room between runners on jumping.
HARPUNA (P Denton) – Bumped with another runner on jumping. Steadied off heels close to the finish.
SIGNOR FANGIO (J Philpot) – Commenced awkwardly hitting the side of the barriers. Shortly after jumping, shifted outwards bumping another runner and then commenced to race keenly in the early to middle stages of the race.
COLHOUN (W Davis) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner.
LANCER (S Wiseman) – Bumped with another runner on jumping momentarily becoming unbalanced and raced wide throughout.
LIBERTY BLUE (S Tsaikos) – Commenced to shift outwards from the 150m. Rider reminded of his obligations to stop and straighten his mounts when shifting ground under pressure.

ROCKFORD FILES (L Crow) – Commenced awkwardly.
SAIKEN (C Hunter) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
SUPER KING (S Tsaikos) – Steadied into the first turn when momentarily tightened for room along the rails. After a disappointing performance, a post-race veterinary examination of the colt failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities.
XTRA FUN (P Denton) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
General: Stewards inquired into SUPER KING (S Tsaikos) losing some ground into the first turn. It was established that S Tsaikos had ridden up inside SAIKEN (C Hunter) with YOWZA (W Kerford) to its outside when he was momentarily tightened for room into the first turn having to steady his mount. It was further established that both riders to his outside were making every effort to give his mount room and no further action was taken.

Race 7 IMPARJA 3YO NT GUINEAS 1600 METERS:
DAKOTA LEE declared a late scratching at 5:27pm after refusing to load.
Trainer T Gillett was advised that the filly must barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards prior to again starting in a race.
MUSIC LEGAND declared a late scratching at 5:28pm after refusing to load.
Trainer B Cooke was advised that the gelding must barrier trial on 2 occasions prior to again starting in a race. Stewards took into consideration the gelding’s previous embargo and that the gelding also reluctant to leave the tie up stalls and then was further reluctant .to go to the barriers in a timely manner
