SIDNEY (L Crow) – Inclined to race greenly in the early and middle stages of the event.
IRREWARRA GEM (I Luximon) – Slow into stride.
SWEET AS SCANDI (D Morgan) – Raced wide throughout.
1ST MEYDAN LASS 2ND SIDNEY 3RD SWEET AS SCANDI
Race 2 AV-COMM.COM.AU Handicap 1100 metres
CELINE (J Philpot) – Slow into stride and inclined to lay inwards under pressure down the length of the straight.
AUSTREET (P Denton) – Commenced awkwardly.
SPRINGER (S Tsaikos) – Underwent a veterinary examination behind the barriers and past fit to start. When questioned about the lack of vigour shown on his mount throughout the race, rider reported that he was of the opinion that the mare was reluctant to stretch out early and felt something may have been amiss. S Tsaikos further added that the mare was striding out better towards the end of the event. A further veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities. Trainer R Viney was advised that the mare would need to barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards and perform in a more competitive manner.

Race 3: Centreline Saddlery Handicap 1400 metres
EMBLEY (C Hunter) – Slow into stride bumping with another runner.
ZAP (S Wiseman) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
HALOGEM (W Kerford) – Raced wide throughout. After a disappointing performance, the Veterinary surgeon reported that the gelding was slow to recover with an elevated heart rate.
Trainer J Gleeson was advised that prior to that gelding again starting in a race, she must present a veterinary certificate of soundness satisfactory to the Stewards.

Race 4: Perks Handicap 1400 metres
MASARU WARRIOR (W Kerford) – Dipped on jumping.
ALL PRICE (P Denton) – Fractious in the barriers.
