THE STOCKBROKER declared a late withdrawal at 4;11pm by order of the Stewards after dislodging its rider behind the barriers and there after going through the outside running rail for a distance before being captured. A subsequent veterinary examination of the gelding revealed no serious injuries were sustained in the incident.
ARRIBA declared a late withdrawal at 4:21pm by order of the Stewards after refusing to load.
Trainer K Lamprecht was advised that prior to again racing, it must barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards.
As no book maker was on course, no deductions were applicable.
