MR BOOMJANGLES (P Shiers) - Raced wide throughout.
TONY’S REWARD (C Hunter) – Raced ungenerously in the early and middle stages.
DESERT KNIGHT (J Lyon) – Commenced to lay inwards after being crossed by another runner in the back straight and continued to race in this manner resulting in the gelding not being able to be ridden competitively. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. As a warning had previously been placed on the gelding for racing in this manner, trainer N Bruggemann was advised that the gelding must barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards prior to racing again.

Race 2: Maiden 1200m
The start of this race delayed 5 minutes as the Paramedics responded to an incident involving a stable employee in the saddling enclosure.
DEEP SEEDED (W Davis) – Veered outwards at the start.
MOATS CORNER (J Maskiel) – Took an apparent harmless fall when dislodged from his mount in the preliminary. Commenced awkwardly and carried outwards shortly after the start, bumping with another runner.
ACRES MIDNIGHT (D Stanley) – Veered outwards at the start. Cast the off hind plate in running and returned with a laceration to that leg.
BLAX (J Philpot) – Raced wide throughout.
OLIVER BULLET (S Fawke) – Fractious prior to the start.
PRINCE RUBAN (S Wiseman) – Crowded at the start and then bumped heavily and forced outwards, clipping heels and checked by its rider.
LEGS ELEVEN (B Huppatz) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped. Veered inwards and away from another runner shortly after the start and again bumped with another runner.
DREAM WEAVER (S Miller) – Raced greenly in running.
MISS MCGREGOR (J Lyon) – Commenced awkwardly and veered outwards and bumped another runner having to be checked by its rider shortly after the start.
General – On inquiry it was established that PRINCE RUBAN (S Wiseman) clipped heels and was checked shortly after the start as a result of receiving interference from multiple runners commencing awkwardly and shifting ground. Stewards were of the opinion that no rider was at fault in this incident.

Race 3: 0-76 1200m
Stewards interviewed trainer G Clarke in relation to his riding instructions as his stable had multiple runners in this event.
ALL IMPORTANT (S Miller) – Bumped and carried outwards at the start.
DIVINE RED (B Huppatz) - Carried outwards and bumped at the start. Tightened for room and restrained at the 600m.
BOLT I AM (C Hunter) – Slow into stride.
DIZZY MISS LIZZY (P Denton) – Bumped at the start. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer G Clarke subsequently reported the mare had recovered without incident.
SYNCLINE (S Tsaikos) – Commenced awkwardly and veered outwards bumping with another runner.
SAFETY DANCE (S Wiseman) – Carried outwards and crowded at the start.
General – On inquiry jockey S Miller (ALL IMPORTANT) pleaded guilty to a charge of engaging in careless riding under AR131(a) with the specifics being that near the 600m he permitted his mount to shift inwards when insufficiently clear resulting in DIVINE RED (B Huppatz) being tightened for room and restrained. Jockey S Miller had his license to ride in races suspended for 1 NT meeting to expire after 17 July, 2021.

Race 4: 3yo BM66 1100m
FEED THE MONSTER (J Maskiell) – Rider reported his mount resented the kickback in the early stages and he elected to shift wider on the track in the back straight and the gelding raced wide for the remainder of the event.

Race 5: 0-58 1000m
Stewards interviewed trainer T Halter in relation to her riding instructions as her stable had multiple runners in this event.
HATTAN MAN (J Lyon) – Raced wide throughout.
POWER RUSH (J Philpot) - Raced wide throughout.
FAITH AND LOVE (W Davis) - Raced wide throughout.
POLICY (C Hunter) – Fractious in the barriers. Reared at the start and then bounded losing ground.
1ST DON’T WAIT 2ND MISTER MONARO 3RD CAPTAIN BRIDGES
Race 6: Chief Ministers Cup 1600m
Stewards interviewed trainer G Clarke in relation to his riding instructions as his stable had multiple runners in this event.
I AM THE FOX (J Lyon) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped. Impeded and held up behind the heels of a tiring runner rounding the home turn and when attempting to improve bumped with another runner becoming unbalanced at the 300m.
PAGHMAN (S Tsaikos) – Bumped at the start. Bumped on the hindquarter and unbalanced near the 300m.
NO SAY IN IT (S Wiseman) – Returned having bled from the near side nostril. Trainer G Clarke was advised of the provisions of AR79.
General – On inquiry it was established that rounding the home turn I AM THE FOX (J Lyon) was held up behind the heels of ASH GREY (S Fawke) when yielding ground. The gelding was taken outwards to improve and ASH GREY shifted slightly resulting in I AM THE FOX bumping with PAGHMAN (S Tsaikos) causing both runners to become unbalanced. Stewards were of the opinion that no rider was at fault in this incident.

Race 7: 0-62 1600m
As B Huppatz became indisposed he was replaced as the rider of MY TRADITION by S Tsaikos.
IT’S MAGIC (S Wiseman) – Bumped at the start.
MOMENTUM AMETHYST (C Hunter) – Commenced awkwardly and lost ground.
LADY RIZ (D Stanley) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped.
MAORI MAGIC (S Fawke) – Raced wide throughout.
MYSTIC KNOT (J Philpot) - Raced wide throughout.
RANCESKI (S Miller) – Commenced awkwardly.
