Race 1 Colemans Printing Handicap 1100m
LANIGERA (A Nicholls) – Slow into stride. Rider reported that the gelding travelled well up to the 450m when it began to yield ground and did not finish off as anticipated. A veterinary examination of the gelding showed mild lameness in the off fore. Trainer G Clarke subsequently advised the gelding to be sore in the front off knee. G Clarke was advised that a veterinary certificate of soundness satisfactory to the Stewards must be produced prior to again starting in a race.
MAUDY (P Denton) – Commenced awkwardly.
NIC NAC (J Philpot) – Commenced awkwardly.
DATASET (W Kerford) – Shifted inwards about the 900m.
ALVIN PURPLE (J Todd) – Steadied off heels at the 900m when momentarily tightened for room and commenced to resent the kickback shortly after. Shifted outwards abruptly at the 120m when tested.
TESTINO (V Arnott) – Commenced awkwardly.
General: Stewards inquired into an incident that occurred about the 900m when ALVIN PUPLE (J Todd) lost ground after taking hold. Stewards interviewed J Todd and W Kerford (DATASET).
It was established that whilst ALVIN PURPLE was tightened by W Kerfords mount, ALVIN PURPLE once restrained then resented the kickback which exacerbated the ground lost.
W Kerford was issued with a reprimand for careless riding.

Race 2: Ladbrokes Punter Assist Handicap 1100m
HAJIME NAOKI (A Lindsay) – Commenced awkwardly.
TRIDENT (W Kerford) – Raced wide throughout and inclined to lay inwards under pressure down the length of the straight.
BUTTERFINGERS (S Tsaikos) – Commenced awkwardly.
POINTOS PICK (B Huppatz) – Commenced awkwardly and inconvenienced for room between runners at the 400m having to steady off heels.
THE GRADSTAND (L Crow) – Slow into stride.
REDENZO LAD (J Todd) – Commenced awkwardly. On returning to scale was found to have bled from the offside nostril. Trainer G Clarke was advised of his obligations under AR79(8).

Race 3: BT Daley Painting Handicap 1100m
FINAL CHANCE declared a late scratching at 3:01pm by order of the Stewards after refusing to load.
Trainer S Whittle was advised that prior to that gelding again starting in a race, it must barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards with the emphasis being on loading in a timely manner.
ARRIBA (D Tournuer) – Bumped with another runner on jumping becoming unbalanced.
DON’T WAIT (V Arnott) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner.
DESERT LASS (P Denton) – Commenced awkwardly and raced wide throughout.
KUMMERLINGS (C Hunter) – Slow into stride.
FARSTAR (W Davis) – Raced wide throughout and inclined to race ungenerously rounding the home turn.

Race 4: The Soldier Lightning 1000m
SO STOIC (B Huppatz) – On arriving at the barriers was found to have bled from its offside nostril and as a result, was declared a late scratching on veterinary advice at 3:36pm. Trainer C Pollard was advised of his obligations under AR79(8).
ARROGANT MISS (L Crow) – Slow into stride.
REGAL CAPITAL (D Tourneur) – Fractious in the barriers.

Race 5: Centerline Saddlery Handicap 1400m
KYD ROCK (C Hunter) – Bounded on jumping bumping with another runner. Raced wide throughout and inclined to lay inwards under pressure from the 150m.
CAITLINS ANGEL (A Lindsay) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
SAVASPUR (B Huppatz) – Knuckled on jumping.
TRAVANTI (J Todd) – Rider took hold to avoid heels just passing the 1000m losing some ground.
WHITWORTH (L Crow) – Inclined to over-race rounding the first turn rolling outwards onto heels causing its rider to take hold and check at the 1000m.
DEFINE TYRANNY (P Denton) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
OVERRULED (S Tsaikos) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
SCHILLERTIN (J Lyon) – Slow into stride.

FAOLAN (S Tsaikos) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
ESCALATOR (J Lyon) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner and inclined to race fiercely into the first turn.
MOMENTUM AMETHYST (P Denton) – Sow into stride.

ALLSPICE (J Lyon) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
EMBLEY (C Hunter) – Steadied off heels on several occasions when racing forward into the first turn.
LOTION (J Maskiell) – Subsequent to this event, trainer A Forster advised that whilst the gelding was disappointing, it was of her opinion that the gelding is not suited to the track as he was never comfortable in running. A Forster further advised that the gelding had pulled up well.
PERESSINI (P Denton) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
SIR PLUSH (J Todd) – Commenced awkwardly and crowded for room shortly after.
WAYANKA (L Crow) – Commenced awkwardly getting its head up.
