Stewards interviewed trainer P Cole in regards to his riding instructions as his stable had multiple runners in the event.
LOOKING FOR YOU (W Davis) – Proved difficult to load delaying the start. A warning wIll placed on the gelding in this regard.
CRASH CRANACH (A Lindsay) – Steadied passing the 1400m.
BARRYS BROTHER (V Arnott) – Steadied from heels when racing keenly passing the 1400m and continued to over race in the back straight.
1ST KAPTAN APOLLO 2ND LOOKING FOR YOU 3RD UNDERWORLD
Race 2: 0-58 1300m
EL SICARIO (W Davis) – Fractious prior to the start. Slow into stride. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages and wide from the 600m.
GODS PENNY (J Todd) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped.
AIR BLAZER (V Arnott) – Raced wide throughout and yielded ground from the 600m.
MON LOUIS (B Huppatz) – Bumped at the start.
General – Stewards interviewed trainer P Johnston in relation to the hind bandages on EL SICARIO unravelling during the race. It was established that the Elastoplast bandage had been applied and stitched securely but in all likelihood appeared to unravel due to a fault with the elasticity of the bandage roll used.

Race 3: 0-76 1200m
Stewards interviewed trainer G Clarke in regards to his riding instructions as his stable had multiple runners in the event.
ESCONDIDO (B Huppatz) – Commenced awkwardly and lost ground.
1ST PAPALET 2ND DIVINE RED 3RD PATRIA
Race 4: BM54 1200m
BON AIRE (A Lindsay) – Bounded at the start and as a result the rider struck her head on the top of the barriers and was dislodged from the gelding.
General – Apprentice A Lindsay was stabilised by the Paramedics and transported to Darwin hospital for observation.
1ST CHOICE APPROACH 2ND LIGHT AND DARK 3RD COUNT OF ESSEX
Race 5: CL2 1000m
The start time of this event was rescheduled to 6.05pm due to a delay with Ambulance transportation and changeover. Jockey K Gladwin replaced apprentice A Lindsay as the rider of MR MOFEED in this event. Stewards permitted him to ride 0.5kg overweight as no other rider could make the allotted weight.
DUNKIRK (V Arnott) – Slow to muster early speed.
