ARRIBA (E Boyd) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
SOUTHERN BOLT (P Denton) – Crowded for room on jumping bumping with other runners.
REAL ROYAL (L Crow) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner.
KYD ROCK (C Hunter) – Bumped with another runner on jumping and inclined to lay inwards under pressure from the 200m.
DAISLEY (V Arnott) - Commenced to compound leaving the 200m and collapsed near the finish line dislodging its rider. The veterinarian reported the gelding had suffered a massive heart attack, and was subsequently euthanized on humane grounds.
ANDAMAN (W Davis) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

Following this event, jockey V Arnott was examined by the Paramedics and cleared of any serious injury. She subsequently advised Stewards that she would stand down from her remaining engagements for the day.
V Arnott was advised that she must produce a medical certificate of fitness prior to riding track work or in a race.
The following action occurred as a result:
Race 3 APPAGE - scratched as no other rider available.
Race 4 PANDEIA - scratched as no other rider available.
Race 5 STAR OF MONSOON - scratched as no other rider available.
Race 9 MOMENTUM AMETHYST - S Tsaikos replaced V Arnott.
Due to the incident in the first race, all remaining races were put back 10 minutes.
Race 2: Territory Pest Control Handicap 1200m
DREAM DREAMER declared a late scratching at 12:11pm on veterinary advice after kicking out in the barriers and sustaining leg abrasions.
Trainer K Petrick was advised that she must produce a veterinary certificate of soundness for the filly prior to racing again.
As no book maker was in attendance, no deductions were applicable on course.

VALLEY PRINCE (S Tsaikos) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
CANNY ROSSA (C Hunter) – Inclined to lay inwards under pressure down the length of the straight.

THE UNKNOWN (W Davis) – Commenced awkwardly. Steadied off heels at the 600m when laying outwards.

NORTHERN FACTOR (P Denton) – Bumped with another runner on jumping and again at the 200m.
TIME FLIES BY (A Lindsay) – Commenced awkwardly and ridden along to secure a forward position.
BUTTERFINGERS (W Kerford) – Restricted for room at the 200m bumping with another runner.
DAKOTA LEE (S Tsaikos) – Commenced a little awkward.

Race 4: Vale Brenton Carroll Handicap 1100m
Stewards interviewed trainer T Gillett in regards to the riding instructions he intended to issue bearing in mind his stable had multiple runners in this event.
THAT’S JUSTIFIED (A Lindsay) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
ASH GREY (P Shiers) – Knuckled on jumping bumping with another runner and raced wide throughout.
TOMAHAWK LAD (W Kerford) – Slow into stride bumping with another runner on jumping. Rider advised that the gelding felt fine in running but was disappointing in its performance. A veterinary examination of the gelding failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities.
BLAZING BULLET (L Crow) – Slow into stride bumping with another runner.
TOFFIATO (E Boyd) – Steadied off heels along the rails at the 600m.
TIGER TRAP (B Huppatz) – Slow into stride.

WHITE KAPS (A Lindsay) – Momentarily inconvenienced for room at the 120m and when steadied the gelding over-reacted and shifted outwards unbalancing its rider.
RAWTEKK (W Kerford) – Commenced awkwardly veering outwards and bumping with another runner and raced wide throughout.
RHYTHIMICAL (E Boyd) – Bumped with another runner on jumping and raced wide throughout.
THE TROOPER (W Davis) – Tightened between runners and bumped at the start. Raced wide throughout.
TOUCH OF PARADISE (P Shiers) – Stood flat-footed and lost ground at the start.

KENNETH (B Huppatz) – Slow into stride. Steadied off heels at the 600m when racing forward.
NORDIC ECLIPSE (C Hunter) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner and commenced to race wide from the 700m.

ANDALE GRINGO (P Shiers) – Inclined to lay inwards under pressure over the concluding stages.

Stewards interviewed trainer D Leech in regards to the riding instructions he intended to issue bearing in mind his stable had multiple runners in this event.
VELAGO declared a late scratching at 3:15pm on veterinary advice after rearing in the barriers and hitting its head. Trainer J Gleeson was advised that she must produce a veterinary certificate of soundness satisfactory to the Stewards.
As no bookmaker was in attendance, no deductions were applicable on course.
