DEEP SEEDED (W Davis) – Raced wide throughout. Shifted in abruptly when tested with the whip near the 100m with the rider having to stop riding and straighten his mount.
MANGALORE LAD (J Woodhouse) – Commenced awkwardly and lost ground
INVINCIBLE ONE (B Huppatz) – Bumped on the hindquarters and unbalanced leaving the 100m.
KELLERS SHELTER (A Lindsay) – Bumped leaving the 100m.
REDENZO LAD (A Nicholls) – Raced wide throughout.
CHILLICHOC (P Shiers) – Bumped on the hindquarters leaving the 100m.
LEGS ELEVEN (J Lyon) – Impeded leaving the 100m and bumped another runner.
PRINCESS DEJOUR (V Arnott) – Shifted outwards to improve at the 100m and contacted another runner and then bumped inwards.
Jockey J Lyon viewed the patrol vision in the home straight to consider a protest and after doing so elected not proceed with an objection and correct weight was declared.
