TOFFIATO (R Vigar) – On arriving at the barriers, underwent a veterinary examination after it was observed in the mounting yard to have what looked to be a stiff gait in the near hind. The gelding was subsequently cleared to race after the examination.
NORDIC ECLIPSE (D Morgan) – Bumped with another runner on jumping. Lay outwards rounding the home turn.
PREEMPTIVE (S Tsaikos) - Bumped with another runner on jumping.

Race 2: Ladbrokes maiden plate 1200m
JUST A NEV (T Treichel) – Slow into stride. Bumped with another runner at the 300m momentarily becoming unbalanced.
OOPSA DAISY (C Hunter) – Bumped with another runner on jumping dipping slightly and raced wide throughout.
STILL JUSTIFIED (R Vigar) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner. Shifted outwards for clear running at the 300m bumping with another runner.
THE GRADSTAND (A Lindsay) – Slow into stride and raced wide throughout.
DREAM DREAMER (L Crow) – Crowded for room on jumping losing some ground and raced wide throughout.

ASH GREY (T Treichel) – Dipped on jumping and lay inwards under pressure down the length of the straight.
BROOKLYN (R Vigar) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
COLDROCK (S Tsaikos) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
WAYANKA (L Crow) – Slow into stride and began to race wide from the 800m.

KENNETH (P Denton) – Raced wide in the early stages of the event.
ROAD STORM (R Vigar) – After a disappointing performance, a subsequent veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities.
SENSATIONAL EFFORT (L Crow) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner.
RACORZA (T Treichel) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

AMERICAN STAR (D Morgan) – Fractious in the barriers.
ESCALATOR (T Treichel) – Stood flat-footed losing ground and subsequently ridden hard to gain a forward position. Bumped with another runner at the 300m. Trainer Dick Leech was advised that a warning had been placed on the gelding and a similar occurrence may result in some action being taken.
MODERNAS ARROW (A Lindsay) – Fractious in the barriers and inclined to over-race in the early stages getting its head up. Bumped with another runner at the 300m.
OLIVARES (C Hunter) – Lay outwards rounding the home turn.
