ESCALATOR (C Spry) – Commenced awkwardly. Steadied and impeded from heels at the 500m

IRON CURTAIN (J Todd) – Slow into stride.

REAL ROYAL (F Bergstrand) - Raced wide throughout.

STROKE OF MAGIC (T Treichel) – Bumped outwards at the 500m

DAISLEY (V Arnott) – Shifted out and bumped another runner at the 500m.

LOVOLOGY (B Huppatz) – Bounded at the start and was slow into stride.

Following the uncompetitive performance trainer C Pollard was advised that the mare would have to barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards prior to racing again. He reported that the mare will be leaving his stable.

Race 2: 0-70 1300m

ISLE OF LIGHT (P Shiers) – Bumped at the start. Returned having bled from both nostrils. Trainer A Forster was advised of the provisions of AR79.

MAZZARO (V Arnott) – Bumped at the start.

ZAP (F Bergstrand) – Raced wide throughout.

1^ST LET’S CELEBRATE 2^ND WARFACE 3^RD ISLE OF LIGHT

 

Race 3: BM54 1200m

PATRIA (J Todd) - Cast the off fore plate in running.

AGGRESSION (D Morgan) – Raced wide throughout.

FIRE N VICE (V Arnott) – Fractious in the barriers prior to the start. Commenced awkwardly making contact with the inside of the gates losing considerable ground. Raced wide throughout and yielded ground from the 300m.

AMIGO MIO (F Bergstrand) - Following the unplaced performance a post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have an elevated heart rate.

KAPTAN APOLLO (J Todd) – Dwelt at the start.

GOOD TO BE GREAT (P Shiers) – Race wide until the 600m.
