LIVADAS (J Todd) – Bounded at the start and bumped. Following the unplaced performance a post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have an elevated heart rate.
DON’T WAIT (P Shiers) – Bumped at the start and again shortly after. Lay outwards rounding the home turn.
FRILLY DESIGN (K Gladwin) – Raced wide throughout. Cast the off fore plate in running and sustained a laceration to that leg.
General – Stewards permitted jockey R Vigar to ride AMIGO MIO at 1.5kg over the allotted weight as no other rider was available. Whilst this was permitted in accordance with the TRNT overweight policy, he was advised of his obligation to only accept riding engagements that he can make the allotted weight.
