MY TRADITION (R Vigar) – Slow into stride.
CRITICAL TOUCH (W Davis) - Following the unplaced performance a post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the near fore leg. Trainer C Spry was advised that he must present a veterinary clearance for the gelding prior to racing again.
DUBAIS GOT TALENT (V Arnott) – Jumped inwards at the start contacting another runner. Raced keenly in the early to middle stages. Lay outwards rounding the home turn.
LE BOSS (J Todd) – Bumped at the start.
VIDARR – (B Huppatz) – Shortly after the start commenced to race keenly and as a result got its head in the air when steadied passing the 1400m.
HES ALL WHITE (L Neindorf) – Raced wide from the 700m. Lay inwards rounding the home turn.
1ST DUBAI'S GOT TALENT, 2ND MY TRADITION, 3RD LE BOSS
Race 2: 0-70 1200m
DELTA DOR (L Neindorf) – Trainer P Johnston reported the gelding looked lame when he arrived on course. A veterinary examination confirmed a level of lameness in the off fore leg and the gelding was declared a late scratching by order of the Stewards at 2.16pm. Trainer P Johnston was advised that he must present a vet clearance for the gelding prior to racing again.
LOOKING FOR YOU (J Todd) – Lay outwards at the 700m.
EMJYE (B Huppatz) Crowded between runners at the start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding returned with an ulcerated right eye.
OMINOUS WARNING (K Gladwin) – Proved difficult to load and delayed the start. Trainer P Stennett was advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding in this regard.
1ST TUSCARORA, 2ND EVIL DREAMS, 3RD PATRIA
Race 3: Maiden Div 1 1200m
The start of the event was delayed several minutes due to WILLOW JAYE requiring farrier attention at the barriers.
KNAVESMIRE (K Gladwin) – Raced wide throughout.
POLLENY (P Shiers) – Rider reported that when unsaddling his mount after the race he noticed that his surcingle had snapped during the run.
AGGRESSION (F Bergstrand) – Bumped at the start.
ELLAND ROAD (B Davis) – Crowded between runners at the start. Rider reported his saddle shifted when the gates opened. He advised that rounding the first turn his saddle shifted further and he was unable to ride his mount out from thereon. On returning to the mounting enclosure the rider was dislodged from his mount and took an apparent harmless fall. An inspection of his saddle and gear found it to be in serviceable condition.
TREDICI (J Todd) – Bumped at the start.

Race 4: Maiden Div 2 1200m
LIBERTYS TORCH (W Davis) – Bounded and bumped at the start.
PRINCESS MARIBEL (R Vigar) – Bumped at the start.
SHECRAN (F Bergstrand) – Following the race the rider returned to the saddling enclosure bleeding from her nose and reported she had been hit in the face by a clod of dirt at approximately the 700m and further that this had impacted on her ability to ride her mount out.
General - Stewards gave permission for P Denton to ride HEADBELLS 1kg over the allotted weight 54.5kg. Following this event rider F Bergstrand was examined by on course paramedics and cleared to fulfil her remaining engagement.

Race 5: BM54 1100m
TORANADO OF SOULS (P Shiers) – Steadied when laying outwards rounding the 650m turn.
BON AIRE (F Bergstrand) – Raced in restricted room and bumped passing the 600m.
RESTLESS (L Neindorf) – Raced wide form the 600m.
1ST TWILIGHT MANEUVER, 2ND RESTLESS, 3RD BON AIRE
