GENERAL FACTOR (M Aitken) – Bumped, tightened for room and carried outwards considerably rounding the 1400m turn. Blocked behind heels rounding the home turn.
HINDLEY STREET (S Cahill) – Slow to muster early speed.
LOTS OF COIN (T Treichel) – Returned having bled from the right nostril. Trainer J Peacock was advised that gelding must be passed to race again by the Stewards in accordance with AR79.
DUBAI’S GOT TALENT (V Arnott) – Commenced to lay outwards approaching the first turn and then veered outwards abruptly passing the 1400m causing interference to other runners. Raced wide from thereon. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer J Manning was advised that the gelding must barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards prior to racing again.
YULONG AWESOME (R Vigar) – Carried outwards considerably passing the 1400m and raced wide from thereon. Rider accidentally dropped his whip near the 150m.

KEYSOR (M Aitken) – Raced keenly in the middle stages.

EURO GOLD (J Todd) – Knuckled at the start.
ALENTOURS (W Davis) – Raced wide throughout.
General – On inquiry jockey B Huppatz (RHYTHMICAL) was found guilty of a charge of engaging in careless riding with the specifics being that whilst riding his mount along he permitted the gelding to shift inwards when insufficiently clear resulting in DIVISIONAL (K Gladwin) being restrained from heels. Jockey B Huppatz had his license to ride in races suspended for 1 NT meeting to expire after 13 July, 2019.

Race 3: 0-76 1300m
ARTIC SONG (T Treichel) – Commenced awkwardly. Raced wide throughout.
DOWNHEARTED (K Gladwin) – Raced wide from the 700m.
SKY PUNCH (S Cahill) – Crowded and got its head in the air shortly after the start. When questioned regarding the unplaced performance rider advised that his mount had raced keenly from the 900m and as a result had to be steadied back from heels near the 600m and consequently the gelding was off the bit from thereon. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
TAIPEI DANCER (V Arnott) – Following the unplaced performance a post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer J Manning subsequently advised that the mare had recovered without incident but he would have blood samples analysed and advise accordingly of the results.

FIRE ‘N’ VICE (V Arnott) – Knuckled at the start.
DAISLEY (P Denton) – Raced wide throughout.
CINOMENM (T Treichel) – Returned from the race with blood in its mouth.

Race 5: OPEN 1100m
Stewards interviewed trainer G Clarke regarding the riding instructions as his stable had multiple runners in the event.
SUPER BRYAN (K Gladwin) – Raced wide from the 600m.
MURPHYS REWARD (T Treichel) – Returned having bled from both nostrils. As this the second occasion the gelding had bled it is now ineligible to race again in accordance with the provisions of AR79(6).
1ST EL TORANADO 2ND CAPTAIN PUNCH 3RD MOOT
Race 6: 0-70 1100m
THE HUMMEL (B Huppatz) – Bumped and unbalanced at the 400m and raced in restricted room rounding the home turn. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. When questioned regarding the unplaced performance rider reported that his mount had got its tongue over the bit in running. Trainer K Lamprecht intends to add a tongue tie to the gelding for its next start.
TYCOON DANCER (R Vigar) – Resented the kickback through the middle stages and shifted in slightly passing the 400m and bumped another runner.
CROAUER (S Cahill) – Raced wide from the 600m.
NEEDY ROCKET (B Davis) – Resented the kickback through the middle stages.
TORNADO OF SOULS (P Shiers) – Commenced awkwardly.
BOLEK (T Treichel) – Raced wide throughout.

Race 7: 0-66 1600m
ROSHERVILLE (C Spry) – Bumped passing the 1400m.
BRIDGEY FLYER (V Arnott) – Bumped passing the 1400m. Raced wide in running and yielded ground in the straight.
MUTIN (T Treichel) – Raced wide from the 700m.
WHITWORTH (W Davis) – Had a tendency to lay outwards in running.
