D’LIVA (D Morgan) – Commenced with its head in the air and unbalanced its rider and as a result veered outwards and lost ground. After viewing the patrol films, the apprentice agreed with the Stewards observations that he had erred in not being fully alert when in the barriers and as a result his lack of control had contributed to the manner in which his mount had commenced.
SHIFT THE RISK (R Vigar) – Veered inwards at the start. Raced greenly in the early and middle stages. Cast (3) plates in running.
TOTALLY JUSTIFIED (J Todd) – Proved difficult to load delaying the start. Trainer L Gillett was advised that a warning will be placed on the gelding in this regard.
DAWN OF THE NORTH (W Davis) – Lay outwards from the 650m. Trainer T Halter advised that she would consider a gear change to improve filly’s racing manner.
STROKE OF MAGIC (S Wiseman) – Slow into stride.

TRYSTOFF (S Tsaikos) – Commenced awkwardly unbalancing its rider. Raced wide throughout. Inclined to lay outwards under pressure from the 300m.
QUE PASA (D Morgan) – Bounded on jumping.
ZAP (S Wiseman) – Slow into stride. Raced wide throughout.

Race 3: PFD Food Services Handicap 1200 metres
RAZOR BEER (S Tsaikos) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped. When questioned regarding the unplaced performance rider advised that his mount had travelled comfortably in running but was under pressure on straightening and failed to finish the race off as anticipated. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
TOFFIATO (D Morgan) – Bumped at the start. Inclined to lay inwards under pressure from the 150m.
LUNCH MONEY (K Gladwin) - Bumped at the start.
CUSHIONS (W Davis) - Bumped at the start.
KEEMON (J Todd) – Commenced awkwardly. Resented the kickback in the early and middle stages.
MODERN’A ARROW (W Kerford) – Slow into stride and bumped.
WHITWORTH (P Denton) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped.

ASH GREY (W Kerford) – Raced wide throughout. Returned having bled from the off side nostril. Trainer L Gillett was advised that the gelding must gallop satisfactorily in the presence of a Steward in accordance with AR79 prior to racing again.
QUANTUM DOT (D Morgan) – Raced fiercely into the first turn having to be steadied. Raced wide throughout.
PERESSINI (J Todd) – Slow into stride.
AMERICAN STAR (R Vigar) – Fractious prior to the start. Slow into stride.
RECONNECT (K Gladwin) – Commenced awkwardly.

SEEK TO DESTROY (S Wiseman) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner and raced wide throughout. Inclined to lay inwards under pressure down the length of the straight.
