NICCOROSSA – (M Hart) - Bumped by another runner at the start.
RESTLESS – (J Todd) – Had a tendency to lay inwards in the straight.
PERDU – (K Gladwin) – Jumped outwards bumping another runner.

NEEDY ROCKET – (J Todd) – Inclined to lay outwards under pressure over the concluding stages.
SPRINTING TO WIN – (K Cross) – Slow into stride. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off fore leg. Trainer S Rains was advised that he must present a veterinary clearance for the gelding prior to racing again.
SECRET CHARGE – (V Arnott) – Commenced awkwardly. Raced wide throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding had sustained a laceration to the near fore leg.

CAITLIN’S ANGEL – (S Wiseman) – Dwelt and bounded at the start losing considerable ground. Wide throughout.
FIZZY ONE – (J Philpot) – Wide throughout. Cast left hind shoe in running.
FEATHERS OF HOPE – (J Todd) – Slow into stride. Commenced to race greenly due to the kickback after being crossed by another runner. Race greenly throughout.
1st – AWESOME MO 2nd – PATRIOT DAY 3rd – FIZZY ONE

Stewards interviewed trainer P Cole in relation to the riding instructions he intended to issue bearing in mind his stable had multiple runners in this event.
LOTION – (B Davis) – Lay outwards under pressure in the final 100m.
THE WILD SIDE – (J Todd) – Slow into stride.
ALITAKA – (V Arnott) – Cast near fore shoe in running.
