General: As jockey L Miller had been stood down by Stewards under AR81A(3), the following rider change was approved.

REWARDABLE (L Crow) – Inclined to over-race in the early stages of the event.

ANOTHER MAN’S GAIN (M Hagley) – Bounded on jumping.

MY GIDDY AUNT (S Ridler) – Commenced awkwardly.

INGENIOUS (W Kerford) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

SILVER SEBRING (J Lyon) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner.

FREDERATION (R Hancock) – Commenced awkwardly.

Race 2: Red Centre Technology Partners Handicap  1100 metres

MAGNUS BAY (R Vigar) – Ridden hard early to secure a forward position.

MITIGATE (L Crow) – Raced keenly in the early stages of the event.

PAROUSIA (C Johnson) – Bumped with another runner on jumping. After a disappointing performance, a veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the near-fore. Trainer advised that he must produce a veterinary certificate of soundness satisfactory to the Stewards, prior to that mare again starting in a trial or race.

FROM FIFTH (J Todd) – Bumped and tightened between runners on jumping.

Race 3: Wally Gannon Memorial Handicap  1100 metres

Stewards interviewed trainer L Whittle in relation to the riding instructions she intended to issue bearing in mind she had multiple runners in the event.

MOOT (J Todd) – Bumped with another runner at the 100m.

PERESSINI (R Vigar) – Shifted inwards at the 100m bumping with another runner.

PYXIS (W Kerford) – Inclined to shift outwards down the length of the straight under pressure.

NORDIC ECLIPSE (S Ridler) – Commenced a little awkwardly.

Race 4:  Vale John O’Neil OAM  Handicap 1000 metres

Stewards interviewed trainer L Whittle in relation to the riding instructions she intended to issue bearing in mind she had multiple runners in the event.

EL GRECO (J Todd) – Slow into stride and despite the efforts of its rider, failed to muster early speed to secure a forward position.

LUCK’S A CHANCE (R Vigar) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

CONISTON SAFARI (F Bergstrand) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

SHAMPERS (L Crow) – Raced wide throughout.  After a disappointing performance, a veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities.

REASSIGNMENT (S Ridler) – Raced wide from the 600m and entering into the straight commenced to shift outwards.

Race 5: Holdfast Insurance Handicap  1000 metres

Stewards interviewed trainer L Whittle in relation to the riding instructions she intended to issue bearing in mind she had multiple runners in the event.

ST CAJETAN (C Johnson) – Commenced awkwardly and raced wide throughout.

SNOWTROOPER (J Todd) – Slow away.

WINGARD’S MARK (S Ridler) – Rider reported that his mount was inclined to lay inwards down the length of the straight and as a result he had difficulties in riding his mount out fully to the line. Trainer Mr G Connor was advised that a warning has been placed on the gelding due to its racing manner down the straight.
