Race 1: TROBIS MAIDEN Plate 1300m

BAGGINS (R Vigar) – Raced keenly for some distance leaving the 900m. When questioned the rider reported that his mount lost momentum rounding the 700m turn due to the kick back. He further explained that in his opinion this may have been the result of the gelding racing without blinkers.

MICKY  (P Shiers) – Bumped at the start. Slow to muster early speed.

NOOSAFY (J Lyon) – Raced wide through out.

WREAKED (P Crich)- Commenced awkwardly and bumped.

Race 2: BM54 Handicap 1200m

MIGHTY TAX (P Crich) – Commenced awkwardly. Raced ungenerously leaving the 700m getting it’s head in the air.

EXERT (V Arnott) – Stewards issued a reprimanded for failing to ride her mount out fully to the end of the race.

WINDFOLA (P Shiers) – Raced wide through out.

BARTENDER MAN (F Bergstrand) – Shifted inwards when tested with the whip on straightening with the rider having to stop and straighten her mount near the 150m.

OUR BAY ROE (M Hagley) – Buffeted between runners at the start. Steadied outwards across heels to secure a clear run on straightening.

Race 3: 0 - 58 Handicap 1100m

KRUPTOR (W Davis) – Momentarily crowded near the 800m.

BO ZEPHYR  (F Bergstrand) – Raced wide on straightening. Returned with blood in it’s mouth from a displaced tooth. A post race veterinary inspection revealed no further abnormalities.

EVIL MISS (P Shiers) – Proved difficult to load and delayed the start. Trainer D Bates was advised that a warning would be placed against the mare in regards to her loading manners.

REDWOOD GARDENS (S Ridler) – Bumped at the start.

ALSOADAMAS (C Spry) – Lay outwards in running. A post race veterinary inspection revealed no abnormalities.

TIGRA  (P Crich) – Cast it’s off hind plate in running.

Race 4: BM76 Handicap 1100m

ACTION AGAIN (J Lyon) – Raced wide throughout.

ELECTRIC CRIMSON (S Ridler) – Returned with an ulcerated right eye and received veterinary treatment.

Race 5: 0 - 64 Handicap 1100m

Stewards interviewed trainer C Pollard in regards to the riding instructions he intended to give each jockey as his stable had three runners in the event.

RED GLOW (P Shiers) – Following the unplaced performance trainer advised the gelding will now be sent for a spell.

MARBEL DUKE (R Vigar) – Commenced awkwardly. Raced wide from the 500m.

BROOKLYN (C Spry) – Shifted outwards when its rider gathered his reigns near the 150m.

OH SO JAZZY (F Bergstrand) – Bounded at the start. Steadied rounding the home turn.
