REWARDABLE (L Crow) – Slow into stride. Inclined to race with its head up in the middle stages of the event. Held up for clear running at the 200m having to steady off heels on several occasions. Rider reported that after being slow into stride, was unable to muster speed to obtain a forward position.

BONSAI BOY (F Bergstrand) – Held up for clear running at the 200m having to shift outwards off heels.

MITOCHONDRIA (J Lyon) – Held up for clear running at the 200m having to shift outwards when taken out by another runner.

Race 2: Westinghouse Cooking Handicap 1100 metres

Race 3: Electrolux Vacuum Cleaner Handicap 1200 metres

FIRE ‘N’ VICE (R Vigar) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner and momentarily unbalancing its rider.

HOLY FIRE (J Lyon) – Bumped with another runner on jumping. Raced wide throughout.

CAT’S ALLEY (F Bergstrand) – Inclined to lay outwards down the length of the straight whilst under pressure.

SIMBELATION (W Kerford) –Raced wide throughout.

Race 4: Fisher & Paykel Refrigeration Handicap 1200 metres
